Reiki Circle
Fridays, once a month at 7:45pm

Come and immerse yourself in healing energy by receiving Reiki. Reiki is spiritually-guided, life-force energy, a simple and natural method of spiritual healing and self-improvement. The “Reiki Circle” is an informal gathering of Reiki practitioners offering this healing art to develop their skills. Volunteers are needed to receive Reiki treatment, so both practitioners and non-practitioners are welcome to attend!

Next Reiki Circle date: August 17th.

The Reiki Circle will take place at 7:45pm after our Friday evening Yin Yoga class, so attend class before the circle, if possible, and enhance your body’s self-healing abilities. Thanks to Reiki Master Francine Ang for organizing these Reiki Circle gatherings.

Community Yoga Classes

We’ll be offering several donation-based yoga classes on Sunday afternoons this summer!

These sessions are supported by attendee donations (pay what you can), so they don’t come off of your class pass. No one is turned away from a donation class for lack of funds. Spread the word and help us share yoga more widely with our community!

Summer Reflections: The Walking Meditation of the Labyrinth and the Quiet of Yin Yoga

The waning season of summer invites us to linger and enjoy the long, sun-filled days.  With the warmth of summer, we find ourselves slowing down, finding a sense of ease and the ability to move inward.

The labyrinth is a walking meditation, a path of self reflection and an archetypal blueprint. It has only one path that leads from the outer edge in a circuitous way to the center. There are no tricks to it and no dead ends. Unlike a maze where you lose your way, the labyrinth is a spiritual tool that can help you find your way.

Walking the Labyrinth quiets the mind, opens the heart and grounds the body. Some find answers to questions long asked, some find healing, creativity, or a sense of wholeness.

Join Labyrinth Facilitator and Yoga Teacher, Peggy Burt as she invites you to walk the labyrinth, engage in reflective writing and simple art making.  No prior experience required. All levels of yoga welcome.  The practice will include Yin Yoga and guided meditation.

Light refreshments will be served.  Please bring a notebook/journal.

Peggy Burt, BFA, MA received her Labyrinth facilitation training from Lauren Artress at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. She has over 16 years of experience in guiding the Labyrinth process for individuals and groups. Peggy is co-founder of and a teacher with Spiral Path Yoga Center.  She is delighted to share the labyrinth with the community!
