$7-10 suggested donation (but no one turned away)
No registration required, just come!
Fridays, once a month at 7:45pm
Come and immerse yourself in healing energy by receiving Reiki. Reiki is spiritually-guided, life-force energy, a simple and natural method of spiritual healing and self-improvement. The “Reiki Circle” is an informal gathering of Reiki practitioners offering this healing art to develop their skills. Volunteers are needed to receive Reiki treatment, so both practitioners and non-practitioners are welcome to attend!
Next Reiki Circle dates: June 22nd, July 20th, August 17th.
The Reiki Circle will take place at 7:45pm after our Friday evening Yin Yoga class, so attend class before the circle, if possible, and enhance your body’s self-healing abilities. Thanks to Reiki Master Francine Ang for organizing these Reiki Circle gatherings.

TRE (Tension Release Exercise) Workshop
with Jenne Eden
Saturday, June 23, 2:30-4:30pm
TRE (Tension Release Exercise) is based on a simple concept: The nervous system has a natural way of recovering from stress and tension, if we allow it.
Join Jenne Eden, a certified yoga instructor and TRE provider, and learn a set of 7 simple exercises that safely activate a natural reflex in the body that feels like a mild warmth or soft vibration, rocking or shaking sensation. Bring resilience into the body as muscular tension patterns are gently released, ushering in relaxation, greater focus, vitality and wholeness.
TRE was created by David Berceil Ph.D, a clinical social worker, whose work with communities in strife-torn areas of the Middle East and Africa helped him recognize that the body’s natural shaking response to stress appears to be a built-in mechanism for bringing the nervous system into homeostasis. Learn more about TRE here.
Jenne Eden began practicing yoga as a young child at home in Hollywood and at the neighborhood YMCA. From her springboard of yoga at a young age, Jenne dove deeper into her yoga practice as an adult. Her consistent practice and study helped her experience a level of wellness, mental clarity, strength, balance and a deeper connection to happiness, which she now understands as the integration of body and mind. Jenne received her 200-hour yoga certification in 2013 and her TRE certificate in 2014. Jenne has taught TRE to all ages, from all walks of life across the country and abroad. She is passionate about sharing yoga and TRE both as empowering therapeutic healing modalities as well as ways to inspire and support personal and positive change.
Reduce stress. Empower your own healing and wellness with this safe and simple somatic practice that can be done by any age at any level of physical ability.
$35 for the workshop (after 6/16)

Mindful Yoga + Meditation Workshop
with Addie deHilster
Saturday, August 4, 1:30-4:30pm
There are many reasons to practice yoga, and different styles all have their own emphasis. In a Mindful Yoga practice, our aim is to do the physical asanas (poses) in a way that brings the development of mindfulness to the foreground. This is a practice that’s designed to prepare the practitioner – in body, mind, heart, and energy – for formal meditation.
In this workshop, we will explore a combination of yoga, mindful movement, walking meditation, and sitting meditation – developing presence through a continuum of movement to stillness. This practice is a great fit for yogis interested in adding meditation to their practice in a way that builds on what you already know from your movement practice. It’s also an avenue for meditators seeking to explore a more embodied contemplative experience.
Addie deHilster is an experienced practitioner of both Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation. She has a passion for weaving together these overlapping, yet distinct, wisdom traditions and practices, and for making them accessible to students of all levels. She is a graduate of the Mindful Yoga & Meditation Training Program at Spirit Rock Meditation Center and a current trainee in InsightLA’s Mindfulness Facilitator program.
